Discuss whether whistle-blowing has a place in society?
to the highest degree every day the news paper, TV and other media bombard us with lots of different news, critical situations, disasters, s open firedals etc. Recently, also whistleblowing has caught the headlines. What is whistleblowing? nerve-racking to find the right definition I realized that on that point is no universally accepted concept of whistleblowing, as we can define this phenomenon narrowly or in a to a greater extent expansive way. For example as …the reporting of illegal use or …as an act of a man or woman who believing in the public post overrides the interest of system of rules he or she serves, and publicly blows the whistle if the organization is involved in corrupt, illegal or harmful military action. The definition that - I find - very clearly describes it is verbalise out to the media or the public on malpractice, misconduct, corruption, or misdirection witnessed in an organization.
Having all above definitions, the only issue that comes to my mind is a question whether whistleblowing is a good or bad thing? But before I approximate to develop this issue, I would like to approach a few cases which in my opinion are essential in scathe of my subject- matter.
