Between the years of 1500 and 1650, their was a clear uprising of scientific observations to better explain the sensual truths of the universe. Although many believers of the record were not easily accepting these ideas, the scientific observations of Nicolaus Copernicus and Galileo Galilei formed what has instantly been accepted as the common belief of astronomy and is the foreland of the physical nature of our universe.
It all started in 1543 when Copernicus finished his work, On the Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres. Copernicus was the first to state that the universe was not stationary but actually revolved around the sun, rather thence the sun revolving about the soil. Catholic and Protestant theologians, were attacking Copernicus for contradicting the ideas of twain the Bible and Aristotle. Martin Luther was among the most displeased of Copernicus ideas.
