The next few lines describe Sadie in more detail. In a critical analysis of the poem by Derick Ariyam it mentions that through the life of Sadie is the source of happiness, and whether or not we make the right choices according to others we have to what feel scoop out to us. The title is also appropriate because in the poem there is much more to say about Sadie than there is Maud. The one-seventh and eighth line state, Sadie was one of the livingest chits in whole the land. Which to me mean that she has had many partners and doesnt really want to settle down. Which leadership her bore two babies before she has gotten married.



In the next line we can tell that Maud and Sadie are sisters. When she have her two babies Maud, her arrest and father are very ashamed of her because in their society that is look at as being wrong.
