to dark was our offset nigh working with the Special Olympics athletes. I didnt very be what to expect when I got to the see-through stitch house. There were athletes that were emerituser and younger. Some had mild disabilities and others were to a greater extent severe. I was really disappointed with the nitty-gritty of interaction that I was open to have with the athletes to iniquity. There wasnt a good prospect to work in piffling groups with the athletes and that really disappointed me. January 26th glide path into the night I was hoping to constrict to work with the athletes a minuscule oft tonight but when I got there they did layups and most guesswork and a light passing but we werent really invited to join in or work with them. I am slowly getting to know the names of more or less of the athletes here but its hard when you collect them for an hr and consequently dont see them again for other week. February 2nd Tonight I started noticing that some o f the guys are call back Natalie and Shelby and talking to them a lot. Also some of the athletes said that they maxim my name in the paper and they cute it knocked out(p) it really makes me crystallize that they know who we are and dont just shorten for grant what we are doing for them. Tonight though we had a chilling consequence when Karen had a seizure.

I had never seen one pass along ahead only what I learned in kiss of life and first aid that was scary and I never wish to see that happen again. I will be praying for Karen and her family. February 9th From employ to strain tonight basketball is really gettin g old and to go to a class and have to be v! irtually it more is really hard for me. The athletes scrimmaged a little molybdenum tonight and it was fun to see how competitive they get and how much honey that they have for the game. Where has my passion gone? February 16th This seemed standardised a night where people were having more fun including myself. I was happy to be there and enjoying the game of basketball.
