Over 150 people were accused and arrested and officially pursued by the authorities. All twenty sixsome victims who went to trial before this court, was convicted. Innocent people were hanged , even if they had zilch to do with witch craft. The Elizabethan Period and the era of the rebirth introduced English persecution of Elizabethan Witches and Witchcraft.
