In the A.D. 100s, the Roman imperium covered about half of Europe, much of the Middle East, and the northern shore of Africa. The empire then began to crumble, party because it was too big for Rome to govern.The cardinals of quite a puny who lived in the Roman Empire spoke many languages and followed many varied customs and religions.
